Program Switcher is a useful control that allows you to switch between the running programs on your System 7 or greater Mac via simple two-key keystroke. This feature was inspired by the same Windows functionality, but I have improved on it and made an unique and fully configurable control panel which makes switching applications on the Macintosh as simple as pressing some keys.
Basic Operation
Program Switcher allows you to switch between running applications with a simple two key keystroke. These keys consist of one activator key and one switching key. By default, the activator key is the option key on your Ma keyboard and the switching key is the tab key. To perform a switch, you first hold down the activator key. Without letting go of the activator key, tap the switching key. A small window will be displayed. This window should be showing the last application you were using on your Macintosh before you switched to the current application. This window will stay up as long as you are holding down the activator key. To see other applications that are currently running on your Mactintosh, tap the switching key again (while still holding down the activator key). Keep tapping the switching key until you have the application you wish to switch to displayed in the Program Switcher switching window. At this time, let go of the activator key. The switching window will disappear and Program Switcher will take you to the application you selected.

License
Program Switcher will only work 50 times between each computer restart unless it is registered.
You may install Program Switcher onto your computer free of charge for up to 2 weeks. After that time, you must either remove Program Switcher completely from your computer or pay an one-time registration fee of US$10 for each computer you have Program Switcher installed on (site licenses also available).
Program Switcher may be freely distributed by any not-for-profit organization. Commercial organizations who want to distribute Program Switcher must obain permission from me (Michael F. Kamprath) first. Failure to do so constitutes an agreement on the part of the commercial organiztion to pay me (Michael F. Kamprath) US$1000 for each incident. Online services (such as AOL and CompuServe) are exclude from this limitation and may freely distribute Program Switcher. This limitation is intended to prevent CD-ROM companies from distributing old versions of Program Switcher. Obtaining the "latest version" does not exclude a CD-ROM company from obtaining permission first.
Registration Fee
Program Switcher has a registration fee of just $10. For the registration fee, you will receive a password based on your name which will allow you to use Program Switcher more than ten times per session.
To pay the registration fee, please use the Register program included with the Program Switcher archive. This program will help you generate a registration form for paying by check, cash, or credit card. Once you generate the form, please mail it to the address on the form itself. Do not mail the form to me as I have contracted Kagi Shareware to process my shareware registrations. You will need to provide some manner in which I can contact you to provide you with your registration password. If you have an e-mail address, please include it. This is the easiest and the quickest way for me to send you your password.
